WARNING: I know it says "Alanish" at the start of the video, I noticed this after I had published it and didn't have enough time to go back to save it. It should say "Alanis". This is a video I created for my art class in high school featuring artwork by David Lester and music by Alanis Morissette. The song I chose was written by Morissette and is featured on her 2008 album, "Flavors Of Entanglement". |

Singing is my good friend Chelsey. This is the start of a new duo we are putting together called 'Chelsey & Nikola'. Decided to change the bridge and ending of the song for musical reasons. We have lots of plans for this project. I am also putting together a new original alternative rock band. Trying to raise money in order to be able to record a great drum sound for it. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING/VIEWING! I sing Ironic in Rock Band 3 with the original vocals turned off. It was once again done for fun and because I want to see more Rock Band vocal videos on Youtube that really put in the effort. Oh, Alanis Morissette; I know people who hate you so much. But I have to be honest; despite 80s female pop rock being more my thing, there's a couple of good songs she's done and this is probably the best one (though You Oughta Know, which I also did a vocal video of, comes close). It's also pretty interesting to sing, especially considering the mix of pitched and talky sections within the verses, the highlight of which has to be the last one. Seriously, I've never had to say "hmm," followed by a tongue click for emphasis in one of these videos and probably don't have any other songs where I'd have to. Oh, and there is something funny about me, as a guy, singing the line that leads up to that, but it's all fun. Oh, and speaking of funny, look at my character during the last chorus, where half of my body disappears. Thank you, polygon clipping.
